This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
MRC Tas Aged Care Services are able to provide entry level CHSP services to anyone who meets eligibility and specialises in providing services to people from a culturally and linguistically diverse background regardless of how long a person has lived in Tasmania and regardless of a person’s country of origin. Depending on a person’s needs, MRC support services may be of the following: • Group Social support – MRC provide a German Day Centre, Chinese Day Centre and Multicultural Day Centre, Bhutanese Elders Group, Healthy Living Group and Pontville Cemetery Group • Individual Social Support -– Support to attend appointments, shopping, social outings • Transport – help getting people out and about for shopping or appointments • Food services – meals at community day centres or help with shopping for food • Counselling services
