The Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD) Community Podiatry service aim is to improve mobility and enhance the independence of the individual by prevention and management of pathological foot problems and associated morbidity. Podiatry services are prioritised to clients who currently have (or are at risk of developing) foot ulceration, infection and amputation. Simple nail and skin care are not provided to those without lower limb risk factors (e.g. Previous foot ulcer, diagnosed peripheral neuropathy, diagnosed peripheral arterial disease)
