This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
Meal Delivery (Meals on Wheels) support people who may be nutritionally at risk, have difficulty preparing meals and/or experience social isolation. Meals are prepared in Council’s Karralyka kitchen, known for its high standard of quality, nutrition, and variety. Meals are delivered by trained volunteers, providing regular social connection and “safe and well” checks that support clients’ wellbeing. Clients must be at home to receive meals.
*Potluck meals are delivered frozen on Fridays for clients requiring meals over the weekend. Frozen meals are also available during the week and are allocated based on individual dietary requirements.
Maroondah residents who are receiving, or approved for, a Support at Home package may also access this service.
To arrange meal delivery through Support at Home, please advise your Care Advisor that you wish to choose Maroondah City Council’s Meals on Wheels as your meal provider.
