Community Continence Service North TAS (CCSN)
CCSN is provided by Clinical Nurse Consultants who have specialist skills in managing continence. The consultants will work with you to help with continence in everyday situations, such as work and home, social outings, exercise, travel, relationship, and intimacy. CCSN work collaboratively with health care teams, including GP, medical specialist, allied health professionals, service providers and carers.
Services provided by CCSN include:
• Professional assessment, advice, support to identify needs and health care goals in a caring, professional and confidential manner
• Education about bladder and bowel health and associated problems
• Information about catheters, appliances and aids
• Health promotions and education
We accept referrals from My Aged Care (MAC), General Practitioner (GP), Community Nurse or other health professional.
