Opened in 2003, our Emmaus residence features 203 single and couples occupancy aged care suites with private ensuite. All rooms are spacious and modern with quality fittings and fixtures, along with electronically adjustable bed, bedside table with lockable drawer, wardrobe with hanging space and drawers, tallboy and shear/block-out curtains.

• Each room is a single room with ensuite and with individually-controlled reverse cycle air conditioning • The Facility, opened in 2003, has been fitted out professionally • Wall, floor and window coverings are in a neutral palette to enable residents to add their own colour with personal ornaments and pictures. • Picture rails have been fitted in residents’ rooms. • Furniture has been chosen to be hard-wearing whilst being comfortable and homely in style. • High quality tap ware and shower fittings are used in the ensuites. • All resident rooms have an enclosed patio/living space with aspects to the landscaped courtyards and gardens. The enclosed patio is furnished with an al fresco dining setting. Full-length windows to the patios are tinted to facilitate privacy and temperature control. • Rooms are fully furnished. Furniture includes timber veneer finished wardrobes, chest of drawers, desk, bedside locker, and lounge chair. • Service connections including nurse call, data, phone, and electrical outlets are duplicated in each room to allow maximum flexibility and choice in room set out. • The ensuite has heat lamps installed in the ceiling, exhaust fan ducting, sky lighting and over toilet LED lamps. The ensuite is designed to allow sufficient space to support mobile bathing. • As part of our integrated model of care for those with dementia, all rooms are dementia-friendly. The placement of down lights and fittings is designed to provide visual assistance to residents with dementia.

Service costs

Aged care homes are required to provide care and services as outlined in the Aged Care Service List within the Aged Care Rule. This includes help with everyday living tasks, as well as clinical and non-clinical care. These services are paid for or supplemented in different ways. Support for your daily living

Support for your daily living is paid by your basic daily fee and the government hotelling supplement. Depending on your financial circumstances, you may pay some or all of the hotelling supplement as a hotelling contribution. Estimate what you'll need to pay.
