Rooms and costs

Our Special Care Unit comprises of single rooms with private ensuite. All rooms include high quality bedroom furniture, electronic high/low adjustable beds, bedside tables with lockable drawers, built in wardrobes with hanging space, occasional tables, in-built display cabinet, visitor chairs, lockable storage. Rooms are all supplied with high quality bedding including pressure-relieving mattress, colour coordinated linen and hypo-allergenic pillows. Sensor mats are fitted alongside the bed for the benefit of residents with dementia and mobility problems. Other fittings include nurse call points and picture rails, all door and drawer handles have been specially fitted for dexterity. Privacy is ensured with an entry way that sheilds the bed fro the immediate view of the doorway as well as wide doors for ease of mobility and protected with fly screens on all windows.

The new building features large single rooms with private ensuite in a comfortable modern environment. All rooms include high quality bedroom furniture, including electronic high/low adjustable beds, bedside tables, built in wardrobes with hanging space, desk area, open display cabinet, chair and lockable storage. High quality bedding including colour coordinated linen and hypo-allergenic pillows. An ensuite with colour coded bathroom tapware, grab rails and 3-in-1 bathroom ducted heat/light/exhaust ceiling fixtures. Rooms are fitted with TV Bracket and quality stain resistant flooring. Other room fittings include nurse call-points and picture rails. Shared rooms provide accommodation for two persons. Large windows allow natural light into each room and views to our landscaped grounds and gardens. Rooms are in close proximity to the lounge and dining rooms, the sitting nook and have access to the balconies overlooking the gardens and views of Warrina Lakes.
