Sydney Community Services - Home Maintenance and Repair - Gardening
This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
Not everyone can safely get out into their garden without a bit of help—and that’s where our gardening team comes in. At Sydney Community Services, we help approved clients make their gardens safer and easier to access. Our focus is mainly on function and safety (not just looks!), but we’re happy to share some gardening tips too. Before any work starts, our friendly team—made up of volunteers and led by qualified horticulturalists—will chat with you about what needs doing. We’ll go over any safety or access issues, talk through a plan, and lock in a time that works for you. Most gardens get a visit about every six months. Services include: · Pruning small, low-hanging tree branches that impede access (safety conditions apply) · Targeted weed removal · Apply mulch (client to source mulch – conditions apply) · Raking to ensure clear access · Disposal of green waste in council recycling bin · Horticultural advice Contact Sydney Community Services (02) 9427 6425.
