Older people from English and non-English speaking backgrounds will find our Multicultural Group Social Support program engaging. It’s a chance to enjoy a wide range of activities, as well as developing and maintaining social connections and friendships. You will enjoy a range of centre-based social and stimulating activities including gentle exercise, art and craft, music/movement therapy, board games etc. Our caring team of staff and volunteers speak a number of languages. Morning tea and a hot lunch are included. The program runs between 10am – 3pm on Wednesdays, with transport provided to and from home for residents living within Willoughby Local Government Area. The program is operated by Willoughby City Council with the aim of supporting the independence of residents living in the Willoughby LGA and surrounding suburbs.
