Speech Pathology - Lower North Shore
This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
Community Speech Pathologists provide assessment and management of individual clients for communication and swallowing disorders, and may provide advice, intervention, treatment and counseling for the following aspects of communication:
Speech affected by neurological disorders e.g. stroke, Parkinson’s disease; language, affected by illness or injury resulting in changes to comprehension and expression of spoken, written, non-verbal communication; cognitive impairments including; attention, memory, problem solving, decision making; swallowing impairments that can cause other serious medical conditions; voice control e.g. poor volume or abnormal sound. Interpreters are available, if required.
