JCS Home & Community Support Services (CHSP)
This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
JCS provides Personal Care Support services to assist you with daily self‑care tasks while supporting your independence, dignity, and wellbeing. Our qualified and experienced staff work alongside you to provide supervision, assistance, and guidance, helping to build confidence, skills, and safe use of any equipment or aids.
Personal Care Support may include assistance with:
Bathing, showering, or sponging
Dressing and undressing
Shaving, hair care, and personal grooming
Mobility, including getting in and out of bed, sitting, standing, walking, and transfers (e.g. to a chair, wheelchair, commode, or vehicle)
Toileting
Eating and drinking, including support with meal preparation, special diets, and shopping where required
All services provided by JCS are person‑centred and responsive to individual needs, with a strong focus on our “Active Choices, Active People” model. Wherever possible, we encourage participation to support independence, confidence, and self‑management.
