Situated in a peaceful part of town a short walk from Princes Park, Havilah's Harkness Site offers spacious living, natural light and award-winning gardens. Heath House, Havilah's secure unit has 20 Special Care Rooms and provides a secure, homelike environment for each resident. All rooms are single occupancy with ensuite. The rooms are spacious and have individual air conditioning and flat screen TV s. Rooms have plenty of space for your own furniture and treasures. All of our Special Care Rooms in Heath House have large windows to enable residents to take in the views of our award winning gardens with some rooms also having views of the surrounding countryside. Residents have direct access to their own private patio area. Heath House incorporates design features which support the functions of our residents living with dementia, reinforcing personal identity and enhancing self esteem and is welcoming to relatives and the community. Indoor and outdoor walking loops are provided and simple cues and colour schemes to assist orientation are used within the unit. All of the quality furnishings and fixtures and fittings are maintained to a very high standard. Havilah is a very safe facility and has many measures in place to stop the spread of fire and smoke and to provide for safe evacuation in the case of a fire- this includes fire and smoke compartments, and sprinklers and smoke alarms. HAVILAH IS A SMOKE FREE SITE and therefore Smoking is not permitted on Havilah sites at any time. Backup power is in place covering the entire site. The unit has state of the art auto call system to alert staff when a resident may need assistance. Residents have access to a pendant alarm and GPS tracker. Situated in a peaceful part of town a short walk from Princes Park, Havilah's Harkness Site offers spacious living, natural light and award-winning gardens. There are only minor room differences within this room type which are situated in Melaleuca House. All thirteen rooms in Melaleuca House are at mezzanine level and are single occupancy with ensuite. Four of the rooms are interconnecting suitable for couples. The mezzanine level is accessed via lift, stairs or ramp. All but two of the interconnecting rooms have direct access to either the internal courtyard or veranda. The rooms have individual airconditioning. All of the quality furnishings, fixtures and fittings are maintained to a very high standard. Havilah is a very safe facility and has many measures in place to stop the spread of fire and smoke and to provide for safe evacuation in the case of a fire ? this includes fire and smoke compartments, and sprinklers and smoke alarms. HAVILAH IS A SMOKE FREE SITE and therefore Smoking is not permitted on Havilah sites at any time. Backup power is in place covering the entire site. Call points are located in each resident's private accommodation and also in all public areas. In addition residents have access to a pendant alarm which they can wear at any time. There are only minor room differences within this room type. All rooms are at ground level and are single occupancy with ensuite. The rooms have individual airconditioning and additionally have the added comfort of hydronic heating. Rooms are fitted with flat screen tv's and built in radio and sound system. These rooms were established for our high care residents and support Havilah's philosophy for residents to be able to age in place. The rooms are spacious and fitted with overhead tracking and furnishings and equipment to assist our residents as they age. All of our Special Care Rooms in Correa House have large windows to enable residents to take in the views of our award winning gardens with some rooms also having views of the surrounding countryside. All of the quality furnishings and fixtures and fittings are maintained to a very high standard. Service costs

Aged care homes are required to provide care and services as outlined in the Aged Care Service List within the Aged Care Rule. This includes help with everyday living tasks, as well as clinical and non-clinical care. These services are paid for or supplemented in different ways. Support for your daily living

Support for your daily living is paid by your basic daily fee and the government hotelling supplement. Depending on your financial circumstances, you may pay some or all of the hotelling supplement as a hotelling contribution. Estimate what you'll need to pay.
