Before you can access government-subsidised aged care services, you need to apply for an assessment. Using the online application is quick and easy and will only take 10–15 minutes to complete.

After your face-to-face assessment, your assessor will determine if you’re eligible for government-funded services, and if so, which ones you're eligible for.

Senior veterans and war widows/widowers are eligible for aged care services from My Aged Care, even while receiving services from the Department of Veterans' Affairs.
