Other requirements:
 
  • appoint, at its expense, an eligible adviser to assist it to comply with its responsibilities: this appointment must be made by 5:00pm on 27 January 2021; and the adviser must be appointed for a period of at least six (6) months ceasing on 23 July 2021.
     
  • provide, at its expense, training for its officers, employees and agents as specified below and to demonstrate that it has provided that training.
    This training should include, but not be limited to:
    • safe and effective clinical care and personal care including pain management, wound management, falls management, continence management, behaviour management, incident reporting (including compulsory reporting obligations) and staff training relating to elder abuse;
The Provider must provide a written training plan to the Commission by 3 February 2021 and written evidence of successful completion of the specified training by 23 July 2021.
 
  • participate in weekly teleconferences with the Commission and ensure a weekly written report is prepared and provided to enable the Commission to monitor the provider’s progress towards returning to compliance.

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission are continuing to monitor the services return to compliance.

An advisor was appointed by the approved provider on 23 January 2021.

Residents and relatives were notified on 25 January 2021.
