The Department of Health is holding a webinar series about aged care reform in Australia. The next webinar will focus on how these reforms can help grow and support a highly skilled aged care workforce – to deliver compassionate, safe and quality care.
This webinar will take place on Monday, 2 August 2021.
We encourage older Australians and their carers, as well as aged care workers, to attend the event.
What will the webinar cover?
This webinar will focus on how the reforms will support improvements for aged care workers, such as:
- growing and upskilling the workforce through programs, training and scholarships
- financial support and incentives
- support for workforce planning.
Participants will have the opportunity to share ideas on how these reforms can best support aged care workers. And ultimately, improve safety and quality of care for older Australians.
