The Older Person’s Advocacy Network (OPAN) is hosting a special webinar to answer any questions you might have about Home Care Packages. This includes questions about monthly statements, fees and charges.
This event is a follow-up to the recent webinar hosted by OPAN, ‘Understanding Home Care Packages’.
What is a Home Care Package?
A Home Care Package is one way that older people can access government-funded aged care services at home.
To access a Home Care Package, you will first need to have an aged care assessment to determine your needs and eligibility.

This is a special Q&A webinar dedicated to answering questions about Home Care Packages. Your concerns and queries will be answered by a panel of experts, including:
- Heidri Brook - Senior Practitioner, Financial Advocate, Aged and Disability Advocacy Australia (Queensland member)
- Gwenda Darling - Member, Older Persons Advocacy Network's National Older Persons Reference Group
- Stephanie O’Halloran - Director, Home Care Operations Section, Department of Health and Aged Care.
