The Older Person’s Advocacy Network (OPAN) is hosting a webinar with the creators of the dementia-focused documentary, Everybody’s Oma.
Dementia is one of the most common health conditions in Australia. It’s estimated 1.6 million people in the country care for someone living with dementia.
The film follows one family’s heart-warming journey navigating dementia through the COVID-19 lockdowns.
About the webinar
The documentary’s filmmakers – husband and wife Jason and Megan van Genderen – share their tips on caring for someone living with dementia.
They will share valuable insights, including how to advocate for a family member in hospital or an aged care home.
