The My Aged Care fax number (1800 728 174) will be unavailable from 31 July 2023.
Why is My Aged Care stopping fax?
Decommissioning fax is expected to provide the following benefits:
- make it faster and easier for clients to progress through their aged care journey,
- provide certainty for referrers that a referral has been received by My Aged Care, and
- allows information to be pre-populated where possible through the use of digital forms.
How else can I contact or supply information to My Aged Care?
You can still contact My Aged Care by phone, in person, online or by post.
To send forms and/or documentation (such as support person or organisation forms) to My Aged Care, you can also upload to your Online Account. Your Online Account, which is accessed via myGov, contains important information about you and your interactions with My Aged Care.
