How to get your COVID-19 digital certificate

Facebook Twitter Email Copy

Published date: 7 October 2021

You can now show if you are vaccinated against COVID-19 with a digital vaccine certificate.

Once you are fully vaccinated, you can download a COVID-19 digital certificate using your Medicare online account through MyGov. The certificate is free and you can add it to your phone.

If you are partially vaccinated, you can use your immunisation history statement through Medicare online as proof.

If you do not have online access, you can also ask your vaccination provider to print your immunisation history or COVID-19 digital certificate for you.

More information, including if you are not eligible for Medicare or if you are a veteran, is available on the Department of Health and Aged Care website.

Information for aged care providers

If you’re an aged care provider and looking for information about your requirements and how to report staff vaccinations visit the Department of Health and Aged Care website.
